No, we aren't going to leave the house, but if the shaking keeps up, the house will leave us. Really, there are some aftershocks that can be felt, but most go unnoticed. It is a little freaky when you are in church and the floor begins to sway a little and you know that the nursery is underneath your seat.
The cake is all gone from the birthday celebration, it was very good. I'm glad it's gone, but my inner person wants a whole lot more birthday cake. Maybe some brownies and a few muffins would be delightful. My daughter wonders why our bodies crave carbs. I don't know, but I know that I want chocolate carbs. Or granola. That would work.
I just witnessed the dog chasing his tail, in a circle. He's such a goofball. He is constantly shopping for something to chew. He will take a library book off the table and try to sneak it out. Or he will shop from the end table in my bedroom. For a couple of days now, he's taken the stamp holder and dives under the bed to chew on it. Like I can't figure it out! When he's quiet, he's doing trouble. Today he managed to chew the end off the plug in phone charger. Don't know if they have any punch to them when they are plugged in, but it was when he chewed the end off. We got a new one this afternoon, and some more raw hide chewy sticks. Still, he's so sweet and lovable. His eyes say it all.
