What strange weather we're having!

I do believe that it was just a couple of years ago that The Girl and I escaped to the Wal Mart cave to escape the 100+ degree heat we were living through on Labor Day. Lots of ugly words were said in those days, words like "air conditioner" and "stinking fan" and my all time favorite "hotel". It was a hot week of building up to the peak on Labor Day. I didn't think I'd live through it.

This year, we stoked up the bar-b-que in the rain. It started raining around 4 o'clock this morning, with lightening. Stick Dog was not too happy about that. There were huge drops, straight out of Mexico. Usually we don't get the monsoons up this far, but today it was cool and rainy. Very odd.

The sky does look rather orange now, at sunset, so the cell must be moving on up north. I will say, I can put on more clothes than I can legally take off, or morally for that matter. I know some don't like fall, but I do. Looking forward to fall. I did just look at the weather forecast for this week, it's going to be a scorcher by Wednesday. So fall isn't here yet. Shoot.
