I must be reliving my old music days. Sometimes it seems as though the songs just get inside my head and it never leaves. Then POOF! one day it's just gone, replaced with another memory song. What stirred up this one is the time change. This is the time of year, and again in the fall, when I wish my state would follow Arizona and just forget the daylight saving time.Really, it's just hard to adjust.
When I was a mom of a baby, that just was like branding a cow. Babies don't know about time changes, and their bodies are accustomed to life, as they have learned it. Toss in an hour change and you are talking about a mutiny with in the ranks. Just because it's not dinner time doesn't make the hunger pain go away.
Then as an older person, sleeping is a lost benefit of being young, so often when I get to sleep, I'd like to not wake up at the 2nd instant of sleeping. We all managed to get up and get out the door and get to church and not be "the ones" who were late because of the time change. Still, we weren't all pleasant.
The bestest thing about the spring time change, and yes there is a bestest thing, was lunch sneaked up on me. Oh how exciting to get lunch early! I was jazzed. The weight loss thing is slowly moving along, and I would like it to move a little faster, so each meal is exciting when it comes. Now I need to dream up something for dinner, and I better hurry! Time is quickly approaching.
