The Grass is Always Greener, When it Grows

This was part of my yard 2 weeks ago. The picture on the bottom has Stick Dog with his planter box, in the dirt. He likes the dirt, loves the box and together they have created a blissful attraction to the back yard.

I have spend the last 2 weeks watering the heck out of that dirt. Not having a sprinkler system means I drag the hose around with a sprinkler attached. I have dumped a ton o' water on the dirt. The seed should be well watered and sprouting.

But it looks just like that today. Some sprigs have come up but not the baby greens that I expected to be laying my eyes on by now. It's okay, it will come. That's what the movie says, build it and they will come. While I don't expect supernatural events, I am looking for a successful Photosynthesis event, right now. Yep, I don't do well with waiting. I will see grass. Really, I will. Won't I?
