Memorial Day 2013

Sometimes I forget to consider the cost to live in my country. Some may say I am lucky, other say this country is going to continue to spiral downward.

I believe I am more than "lucky", I am blessed to live in the US. I come from family men who served in the armed forces, My dad and my mom's dad both served in WWII. My father in law served in Korea, the Husband served during peace time. We can trace our family to the Revolutionary War. Our  family have served to keep us safe and to keep our freedoms. On this day I would like to remember that they didn't do it in vain.
Yes, things will get worse, it's the way it was planned, but until I can no longer vote or freely go to church I will support my country. Thank you to all my family who have in the past served to keep me free.
