One more tile

Well, shoot, I did end up replacing another tile. He just can't leave some things alone. Granted, these are tiles along the edge of the door frame and they have all become chipped, but still I don't want to spend my life replacing tiles. It's not fun to chip up the old and place the other on the floor in the correct manner, especially since I am somewhat straight line challenged. Oh well, these days won't last forever and he really is a cute dog and normally fun.

I think the cat is finally going to give up his hiatus and come inside and be pleasant, even to the dog. I have to hand it to the cat, he held out for a long time. Ranger isn't going to hurt him, he just digs having him in the house. The cat was used to bossing Bubba, who was more his size equal, and in the end days the cat would take advantage of Bubba's blindness. Gotta say, if karma was real, this cat got his!

According to yesterday's paper, we have had the coldest July since 1933, when FDR was president. Also, yesterday's paper said, " On this day in 1902, says the weather service, "0.83 inch of rain fell in San Diego, the wettest calendar day and 24-hour total for July on record." Must have been a hurricane that came through that summer. Whatever, it has been cloudy and cool, but I know that our real summer is coming, it always does and September will be HOT! So I will enjoy the clouds as long as they stay around. Granted,it wouldn't be good for a vegetable garden, but with the water rates as high as they are, we can't afford to plant a garden. About the only thing that flourishes here are fleas! I hate fleas, but then again I hate nearly any bug that would dare to invade my personal living bubble.
