Sometimes, it seems as though the week won't end. Days seem long and dreary, as if I am looking out of a stranger's eyes. This wasn't that week. The week seem to fly, but that's because of my job. It's either feast or famine, and when the rains started, it was feast. If it can leak, it has, and many people have not lit their pilot lights on the heater, so the typical call is, "my roof leaks and my heater won't work". I've learned to ask the right questions, but it certainly doesn't mean that the residents have the right answers. So much time and money wasted.
It has rained some more, and boy we have some really green grass and weeds. It is refreshing to see something green and growing. We did have a short Santana wind, but all it accomplished was a dry nose and very clear VFR. When I was in Ramona, I could clearly see the buildings of downtown and Point Loma. It was breathtaking. I could see the ocean along the coast line for quite a distance before I got to Poway.

The Dog went to see the vet. It wasn't a bad visit, Dog just got a bit snappy, so out of safety issues, they muzzled him. It was humbling. He was very good after that. The spot on his nose is a mite infestation, more commonly called mange. This sort isn't contagious, and will go away, but in the meantime, his snout looks funky. It doesn't itch, just looks icky. He will survive. He sure has grown up and looks like a cutie. Today he is sporting his candy corn scarf. He cracks me up with his scarves. They are hanging on a chair knob and he will go and snoodle them on occasion. He seems to enjoy wearing his clothes. The item he snoodles most is his leash, He will run into the dinning room to snoodle his leash if he thinks we are going outside or getting into the car. He is such a hoot
So now the week is over and today is cleaning-shopping day. It will be a good weekend.
