The Color of Money

It rained last week, measurable rain! We seldom get rain this early in the rainy season that is much more than drizzle 

or fog. See, in that picture there is rain water on the patio! And green stuff growing in the yard. Granted, it's going to be mostly weeds, but it's green, and in the yard. Even the flowering bushes got a charge from the rain. This poor plant barely makes it during the summer, so today the bees were having a hay day with the blossoms. Last year, Stick Dog spent hours in the rain digging in the garden boxes, but this rain, Dog just stuck his head through the dog door and looked out. He didn't want to get wet. Maybe it was too many baths over the summer. Anyway, he was pushed through the door and made the trek out to the hinter lands to do his duty. He survived.

This week was a bit exciting, and now we begin another week. Dog needs to visit the vet for a spot on his face.Lucky Dog. He is now 10 months old and filling out. He's such a cutie!
