Moving Day

Today was the last day of work in my office at 2355 Northside Dr. Our office is moving down the road a couple of miles to the Hazard center. It will actually be about 5 minutes closer to home, which I will like, but the traffic at that corner is really congested in the morning. On Monday I will leave at the same time as always and check out the drive. I look forward to my first glimpse of the new, but temporary, office space. We will begin on the 3rd floor and end up on the first floor after the first of the year.

Moving isn't easy, and you just can't pack up all the files until the last minute because what ever the issue is it will always be in "that" file, the one in the box on the bottom of the stack. As it is, I have about 6 files I've carried out in a box to attend to immediately on Monday morning while I set up my desk again. It cracked me up that I packed my vendor's phone number list. What on earth was I thinking? I use that list at least 50 or more times a day. What a dope. I have gotten better at remembering numbers, though.

I wanted to take a picture of my nearly empty office, but I only had my cell phone with me, so picture taking stayed in the phone. I will take pictures of my new office when it get it set up.
