After 33 years, it's time for new furniture. I have never had new livinig room furniture. I've always had used, either from family, friends or the thrift store. My yellow couch was getting so thread bear and the material was becoming a bit crispy, and I knew with the whole icky bed bug epidemic, used furniture was not going to happen. So the Girl and I went furiniture shopping and got these. It's a beginning. I would like a new coffee table and new side table and lamps, but that will happen in time. The next purchase will be a new recliner. I really liked my yellow couch, it was a perfect size for the room, but really, I got it used 10 yrs ago and it was probably at least 10 yrs older or more then. Looks a bit '70's-ish. The flowered loveseat was given to me by the neighbor who hated the flowers (I agree), so it was at the same time I got the yellow couch, and it was probably the same age. If you can remember the camel back sofa's with wood trim of the 70's county look, then you are aware of the age of the antique furniture in my living room.

Ooooooh, now I have to be green with envy! I love your new furniture. Most of my furniture is hand-me-downs. Fortunately, it's all very nice hand-me-downs! :)
