The Husband and I celebrated our 33rd anniversary. I have to say, I never gave it any thought that I would be this old and married this long. Time seems to have slipped away and then WHAM! I don't regret the time, just think I should have paid closer attention to it before it was gone. You think I will remember these days 30 years from now? Probably very few details, I'll be a lot older than I am today.
These are pictures of the boats outside our window at the hotel. I like the Christmas lights, but the thing I like most about the boats is the sound of the lines clanking when the waves roll in and out. I may get tired of it if I lived there, but I like the sound.
So now we march toward Christmas. I'll sort of drag my feet a little, because I'd like to get some things done and still enjoy the season. Working full time takes a lot of the time away from the enjoyment, but I'll get over it. Shoot, we just paid the first part of the spring semester at State and I was more than happy to pay in full. Working is very rewarding, in many ways.
