Happy Birthday Stick Dog!

Ranger at 1 year

Ranger at 6 weeks

Stick Dog turned 1 year old on Wednesday. What more could a stick dog want for his birthday than something else to chew on. Here he is with his knuckle bone. It has been a great source of time consuming chewing. I think it's just plain ol' nasty. It's hard to believe we've had him nearly a year. He looked like a opossum when we got him, and now he's all grown up dog looking. He is rather fetching, and here he is sporting his Christmas bandanna.

He  weighs about 45 pounds and is full of fun seeking energy, even if fun can be spelled "c h e w a s h o e". We have lost several lefts and rights of flip flops, and I know he has taken out a couple of sneakers.

He has the life every dog would love to live, cushy sleeping places (sofa and spare bed) food fit for a king's dog and very accommodating people to do his entertaining. What a spoiled dog. Still, I doubt that anyone would ever consider walking into this house after hearing his bark.
