Back to the Prius....

Those who drive these "cars" are about to make me take up target shooting! I get it that many don't want to use gas in their cars, but when you driving the neighborhood roads, for pitty sake, DRIVE the speed limit of 25! And, don't wait until you get 4 miles down the road to reach that speed because there is a stop sign up ahead and you are planning on slowing down 2 blocks before the stop sign. Oh the agony of it all.

I really love working from home. I can wear anything I want to work, brush my hair if I want and sit in any place I want. On Wednesday the dsl will be installed and then I'll go in after lunch. The view from the office window over my desk is of Mission Blvd and the bicycle shop below and the ocean just beyond. What a view.I know that the May grey and  June gloom will envelope the site for a couple of months, but wow what a view! Parking will stink on nice days, but a walk won't hurt, either.

Stick Dog has enjoyed me being home and the time change, which I may have finally gotten used to. He gets to go to Dog Park more often and totally digs ball time. I am hoping he will soon learn to come when it's time to go home. I am tired on explaining the long lead he drags around with him when he runs through the park. The other dogs like to try to catch the lead as it whips past them, and some have gone dragging a bit before they let go. Some are more tenatious and will actually bring Stick Dog to a halt.

The Girl continues with the pledging. Sometimes it's so irratating that she looks a bit snarly, but she's determined to see it through. I have to hand it to her. She has stick-to-it-tivness. She's going to be a great asset to the sorority. SDSU lost their game in the Sweet 16, and it was a sad day. Still, we've kept up with the winning games, and to see Butler and UCONN go at it is amazing. There must be a bunch of NBA talent scouts watching. The 3 point shots always astound me, like who do I know personally who can shoot that far. Most of the time I can't judge the distance until I see if from the standpoint of a bystander. Amazing. So the score is.....
