I realized that April marks the 1 year anniversary of of my blog. Darn, we are looking good! In that year we have grown a puppy to a dog, Girl has done another year of college, rushed a sorority, I got a job, laid off and got another job and we didn't burn down this year. That makes a successful year.
This year's new job gives me an opportunity to work from home or in an office with a view of the Pacific Ocean. It has been a real eye opener for me to learn to do an online office and become paperless. I need to shuffle papers. I'm used to having a file to look at, work orders to handle and staple invoices to so this has been a challenge to me. But I am seeing a great benefit to learn this. I've learned new software to enable the paperless trail and actually feel like I've accomplished something. Technology still astounds me, shoot my phone will blow me out of the water! Having come from the generation of the first manned space flight to the http://www.com/ generation has been amazing.
So, my blogaversary is celebrated looking back at the year, seeing some growth in emotions, financial college saving, family life and just generally growing a year older has been good.
