TGIF

I am so glad it's Friday! I've waited all week for this day, and the 5 o'clock bell couldn't ring loud enough! The week started out slow, but by mid morning on Monday, it was full throttle.

The Girl is off for a couple of days in San Luis Obispo. The sorority and fraternity have a huge gathering with sister and brother frats and sorority members where they play football and camp on the beach. This will be so much fun. She is in one of my favorite places on earth. I love the central coast, and SLO has fond memories for me. She's going to be whooped when she gets home, but what fun!

A couple of weeks ago, my carpet cleaner gave up the ghost, on the one day I'd been waiting for. I was waiting for a santana wind to help dry out the carpet, and when the day came out came the cleaner. About 5 minutes in, it was done. Nothing was going to get cleaned. I was bummed. So out it went and I let my fingers do the walking, though the internet yellow pages of Amazon.com. I found a new one, but not the same as the old one, and click it was mine! It came and I've been waiting for time to do the cleaning. And waiting some more.

Then, last night, "something" got on the loveseat. It was wet and there was much suspension cast on a couple of house animals. No bodily fluid smell, just wet. Yeah, no, there wasn't one person in this family willing to sit there. So, today was the day. I worked my hinny off to get the time to do the cleaning. This new machine cleans like none other! I started with the love seat, cleaned the whole thing, and moved to the floor and one cushion on the sofa. I didn't do both because I wanted to sit on it this evening. Little did I know this carpet cleaner sucks up more water than any of the ones I've had in the past. Really, after 2 hours, it was dry. Now I have to finish the sofa. Ahhh, it looks so nice, and so does the floor.Gonna dig this new cleaner!
