The new battery works! It's good to see the battery icon stay up rather than start draining the moment the laptop disconnects from the chord. So, that was one good order, and still waiting on the dog door. It cost $40 to send the door back, blah blah blah. It still annoys me..

So, all in all life is good. We've had some very cold weather. We put a blanket on the bed and did the ultimate deed, turned on the heater. It is usually December before we have to do that, but it's been cold! Even Stick Dog has taken to sleeping closer to our bodies to keep warm. I've even started wearing shoes and sweaters. Both of those are nearly not worn around here.

We had some rain last weekend, and I expected loads of trouble tickets from the tenants with leaks. Only one! I was amazed, but there is more rain coming this weekend, so we shall see. As it is, the Girl and I are planning a trek to Julian for our annul pie and cider run. I really don't want it to rain while we are there, but a little snow might be fun. Better get my warmest clothes together.
