Fall Makes a Come Back

Fall came today, and it will leave about as quickly. Today, the weatherman predicted the first Fall rain storm. Now my friends in all other areas of the US and World are laughing their head off when I say rain storm, because our storm will consist of, and did consist of, barely measurable rain. The temperature here at the house is 67 degrees, and the doors and windows are still open. About the only thing that happened to make me believe that we had "rain" was that Stick Dog tracked in some muddy foot prints.

You can almost see some rain dripping off the umbrella, but the proof is in the wet patio, yeah. I will tell you, what you don't see is the dry area underneath the table, chairs and bar b que. Tomorrow is warming up and by Sunday we will be in the 80's. That's quite an improvement from the triple digits of the last month. Ah, Fall, I have waited for you to come. Sorry it was short lived.
