Summer is Back!

Yep, that's right, summer is back. I heard that today will be the warmest day. We'll see. I need cool. I want to shut my doors and windows. It's time, for goodness sake, for cool nights and a fire in the pit.

I had a few musings this week that sort of struck me. I noticed that there are some young couples at the grocery store, actually shopping for real food. They were dwellers who were doing weekly shopping. I can't believe how young they are. But more importantly, how old I am. I did enjoy noticing that. They are the future and it was fun to watch.

My other musing was that change is still hard to do. Some change brings up sad thoughts but the promise of a path to follow is good, too. All that to say that soon I will be able to attend church with a very handsome man. I look forward to that.

I had my oil changed this week, and the light repair will cost almost $400 so I have decided to have the whole thing repair, bumper and light and to use the insurance. I'd rather pay the deductible of $500 and get a light and bumper, than to pay $400 now for the light and then go back and pay a deductible for the bumper. Stupid pole.
