Day 20

Okay, so I have come to day 20, and I am glad this is a short month. Not for the paycheck, though.

I am glad I have a smart husband. He gave me some great advice a while ago and it's been good to use it.
I am glad it's Wednesday, the work week is half over and most importantly is Bible study tonight. New book by Wiersbe.
I am glad we had the "storm" last night. there was rain, hail and snow as low as Pine Valley. 3 major highways have been closed due to snow and ice. It was a cold one and we stayed warm in our blankets and one dog bed. I didn't have to drive in the rain this morning and that was a super blessing!
I am glad that I have a home to come back to. I am sad when I see the beggars at the corners. I have food and shelter. Not too sure what they have, but I know what I have.
I am glad I have dinner already prepared, since the sick husband is still sick and home. I don't normally cook during the week, any longer. 

Stick Dog had to go out at daybreak and spend some quality time addressing the palm fronds that came down during the storm. It's quite a battle between dog and frond. I had to finally block him inside until I was dressed to go out and toss the offensive aliens back over the fence. It was stinking cold at day break, I must say. But not to fear, by the weekend it will be in the 70's. Totally dig it.
