I was up early today, like every other day. I always thought I would get to sleep in when I got older, but it didn't happen. Sleeping in happens when the time changes in the Spring, so when I wake up at 5:30, the clock says 6:30 and I am overjoyed!
The day is cool, but not like the mid west. I can see snow on our local mountains, but not like the mid west. I am glad I don't live in the snow belt. I have shoveled enough to know it isn't fun. I have slipped on the ice to know pain. I'm good with my dwelling place.
I am glad to be working from home today. It was a two coffee cup day and I took my time taking a shower. No make up and a comfy couch. It really is all good. I may consider fish tacos tonight. That would be the icing on the glad cake. I need to pick up the yard before the lawn mowers come, though I can never tell if they will be here on Thursday or Friday. It all depends, I suppose, on what the schedule is for other work. I just won't let them walk through dog bombs, and I have to keep it raked so I can find the land mines. With the recent winds, the leaves from the trees that I don't have in my yard are carpeted from corner to corner. I have some pretty buff arms from digging roots and raking leaves this year. Watch out!
