I made it though the day, without one single trick. I didn't pull one on anyone, either. That is not normally me. I must just be out of it today. My cousin Cindy was born on this day 58 years ago.
I had a good Easter. Not what I expected, but I don't know what to expect, anymore. With 1/3 of us not going to church, it makes the day just strange. I am a bit disappointed in the spiritual events of my family. I had hoped that by now we would all have gone through what needed to be gone through. It breads a bit of discouragement.
We had a great message yesterday, though. After church we put together school bags for an outreach in Costa Rica. It was well organized. You went through a line that consisted of picking up a baggie, put two of each items in each box in the bag and at the end, you drop the sealed bag into the big box. It was great to know that we have a mission work in Costa Rica that deals with the physical and spiritual needs of these kids.
It was the purpose of the Savior to give life, and our purpose to spread the Word about this Life. I like that we do that.
I was sad that my guest didn't come.
