This has been a very bad day. It has also been a very busy day. Busy and bad should not be the same since they aren't the same but often times will walk hand in hand.
The day started out with a bang, and just went south after that. I have a PM who just closed on her own house and is moving, and she has 2 properties that are closing next week that have paper work and work orders that need to be taken care of. I can only do so much, but she must walk her paper work through including following up on her work orders to make the deadline. She wasn't and it was a rush job all week. I've delivered a trash can to a complex, notices to a condo association for a water shut off, meet with a locksmith for her, so she needs to complete the rest. I have a ton of work ahead of me.
The boss has put together a BIG PROJECT that will demand a lot of my time. In getting everything together, he has manged to forget a time he asked me to be available for a sit down to go over this BIG PROJECT. He calls me to ask me to stay a bit later, but when I pick up my phone to answer it, I heard something I should never hear. It was my name in association with a bad word. I just won't go any further. I was stunned. But, I realized how he feels about my work.
I am sure he didn't expect to have that overheard, but it pays to remember, when you dial your phone consider it ON and live. Same with when turning it off. Until the phone shows a new screen, it is live. Don't utter another word, either before or after until it is safe to do so. Seriously.
Ugh. That is horrible.
