Okay, in a tired attempt at blogging, here is some information about our best Girl.

This first picture is one I took off the web site for ADX. In this picture, Girl is an active and is dressed in black. Pledges are dressed in white and are wearing their new sweat shirts. This sorority has been such a blessing for her spiritual growth. I will be forever grateful for this.

This was a fun dessert to make. It was found on pintrest. It is the Ghirardelli chocolate squares glued with frosting to Reese's peanut butter cups and decorated. I used different flavors chocolate. These were winners!I made two trays and very little was left over.

Here are the dreaded deviled eggs. For those who know me, know I don't like deviled eggs. There is nothing about them I like. This is so odd, since I like eggs in most ways, but not deviled. However, there were some who were horrified that I wouldn't have them at the party. So I made 2 dozen.

One table of food. We had 3 tables of food. We had lots of food. We had some spicy hummus that was the best! I made some guacamole, bar b qued meatballs, cucumber sandwiches, cheese and meet trays, fruit tray. We had pita chips, corn chips and sherbet punch.

Here is our Girl with her grandparents. On her right is granny Franny and Grandpa Ransom. On her left is my mom. Behind them is the famous bell tower at SDSU. The day was beautiful and the weather was super.

Desserts! Sprinkles mini cupcakes in 4 different flavors. One was gluten free for those who are inclined to be that way. There was a cinnamon one that was soooo good!

Here is the Viejas Arena. There were over 500 grads there and all the family. It was a 2 1/2 hour service. Well worth the time. I know it is a one time shot and I enjoyed every single moment. I cried like a baby. I deserved the cry.

No blog is complete without a picture of Stick Dog. He kind of work the head band. He was not thrilled.

The walk. Yep I cried then, too. My baby was doing the grad walk.

Girl decorated her mortar board with a green stripe and dark pink scroll initials. She put jewels around the edges and it really picked up the lights. This picture is just prior to her doing the walk.

So that's the end of the graduation story. I have such fond memories. I am so happy we have these memories. I never thought we would be here. Girl is the first person on my side of the family to attend and graduate from college. I am very proud of her and her accomplishments.
