Today is the Girl's 23rd birthday. I still remember, vividly, being newly pregnant, the day I told the Husband I thought I may be, exactly what we were doing and going, since it was my birthday that day.
I can't believe that so many years have gone past. What a great lady she has turned out to be. I raise my coffee cup to the hope of many more to come.
Whew! Finally! The birthday girls gets her present. Her gift request was a particular movie, easy enough to get, but the Husband and I got her an iPad air. Not something she would ever ask for. But something I saw her spend quality time with at the Apple store on every occasion we were there.
In my quest for a new laptop, I did a ton 'o research and finally decided on a Mac. In that research, I started looking at the Kindle, iPad, Nook and other similar items. I knew that the Girl had been looking as well, and it's taken a year to make the decision on the Mac and the iPad. We are long-suffering folk, around hear.
