There are just times when I can't find the word to utter that would make me feel so much better in frustrating times! I remember clearly the reason we dumped AT&T. I love the new cable Internet, but I AM NOT LIKING SDG&E TODAY at all. And it's not like I can dump the gas and electric company. There isn't another utility company that I can go to and get gas and electric. Now with all the kvetch out of my way, I will find a number to call SDG&E and let them know exactly how I feel about their policy, or actually lack of policy, to inform their beaten down and held captive "customers" that there will be work done on the meter and on what day that work will occur.
Here we go, sailing along the sea of life, and most things are going good. Then BAM! SDG&E came out yesterday and installed a smart meter, like my old one was stupid I suppose, and when they shut off the power and made the change, they turned on the power and blew out the wireless router. Oh, yes they did!
And most frustrating is, they didn't tell us when they were going to do it. Had I known, I would have unplugged everything! So I come home from work, no Internet at all, not on the desktop, laptop or Ipod. And then I get to spend a couple of hours with a tech from TW to help me try to reboot my router. It didn't work BECAUSE IT'S FRIED. Now I get to wait for the TW person to come out and install a new one. I need to mention that they work the same hours I do, so one of us is taking time off to accommodate the TW company. Oh yes, I had to reset all the clocks, too.
It's only Tuesday...
