Qualcomm has turned 25 and they celebrated with a grand party! They decorated the area like Disneyland, tables were everywhere and bands of different styles were placed throughout the area. Food tables were abundant and never ran out of anything. There was nothing missing from this party. Food, music and a wonderful laser and firework show. I must live in a vacuum because I really enjoyed myself and was awed at the display. The powers that be kept the name of the headliner singer a secret. I like Dave Mathews, for the most part. I can actually hear the words.
I really enjoyed seeing where the Husband works, his office and the machinery he works on. He actually has designed some of the machines. I never knew that. I will say, the working floor is immaculate. I suppose that is for quality purposes and for purity of quality, but I believe the cleaners have the hardest job keeping the area free of air born and floor born particles.
The end of the week was way better than the beginning of the week. We are back on line and the crisis is over. I still owe SDG&E a response to their way of doing business. I still can not believe that whole fiasco. What idiot planned the work? I hope for their sake they are on vacation the whole time this switch it being done and that all their email and phone messages go into the abyss, because SDG&E will have to hire more people to answer all the calls and emails that they must be receiving, and that in turn will cause a rate increase. It's wonderful to be a captive of a utility.
Here is the Dog giving me the "treat, please" look. When he is absolutely sure he needs one, he will go to the tea cart and bark for one. What a spoiled dog. But he sure is cute!
Hey, Dave Mathews! Pretty cool. Sounds like it was quite the party!
