My Dear PacNorWest Friend

Today was graduation day for the dad of a friend of mine. It sounds really nice to say it that way but it still hurts like a pain that is indescribable. I am so thankful that her daddy was saved, it sure has to make a difference in the way you grieve. I am so thrilled she will see him again, full and whole, not sick and old.

All the memories that have been flooding into their lives as they have looked back to the days 50 years ago, the events that stuck out in each mind and heart of each child and grandchild, will sustain you, and hurt you, for a bit of time, but when you find yourself not crying as much, and the pain isn't so deep for so long, then you know that it will be okay. You will again find humor and good feelings as you remember your dad/grandpa, but it will just take some time.

I'm on this side, praying for you all. Take some time to rest and cry.
