This bench is on the lake/pond at the hotel. I really liked it and would rather have had the Husband on the bench with me but no one came by, so it was just me. The pond walk is about a mile and there are some exercise equipment along the walk to work out with. The day was very nice, some storm clouds over head but no rain here, heard it was south of Atlanta. The church is in Duluth. Not a single brick matches the others, it's very old and the brick was hand cut from a quarry nearby. The building on the back was added latter and they tried to make it look the same, and it was a close match. You can see the machine marks on the rock, though.

This sky picture is of the Mississippi River. We nearly missed it with the storm clouds, so the break in the clouds was brief. I am amazed at the amount of rivers that flow across the mid-west and south. I forget that not every state is dry like So Cal. A river there is cause for a celebration, a bar b que and water tubes. Here, I can't find a park by the river at all, but all the golf clubs are along river banks. Evidently the rivers here have steep sides and no sandy parts to play in the water and frolic. You can fish, but no swimming, unless you intend to dive in. I don't.
