There a nip in the air!

Winter is here! Yahoo! It was stinking cold over the weekend, blanket weather for sure. We haven't lit the heater yet, mostly because I won't light it and "it" needs to be vacuumed first. But I have worn tennis shoes and a sweater. Even wore a sweater to church. I drank hot beverages and didn't sweat. We closed the windows and had some rain. I took out my coat and fluffed it in the dryer to make it smell good. It was good to wear thick clothes and bundle up. The Husband even moved the dog door the the glass door channel. That is a sure mark that it is winter!

Wasn't it just two weeks ago I was still putting together work orders for air conditioners? This weekend we got 5 calls for "my heater is blowing cold air" or " my heater isn't working". Well, duh. Call the SDGE and have them light your heater for you, and also change the battery in the thermostat. Of course, because of the cold snap, SDGE is busy as beavers so lighting time is schedule far out right now. Oh, no, I will not send the HVAC man to your house to light your heater.

 Stick Dog is certainly feeling the cold. He usually lays at the foot of the bed, but when it's cold he is a lot closer to the head, usually between the two of us, staying toasty warm. Unfortunately his closeness creates opportunities to sniff in my ear or lick my face. I hate that. I don't want anything called breath in my face when I am sleeping. I have enough to deal with on the snoring front, I don't want dog breath or licking to mix in with the evening snore song. It will take a couple of cold nights before he remembers where I am with that, but he will eventually remember.

No mediation today. The creepy man will have to file formal charges to get anything. We shall see what he does, but I really am sick of waiting for this to end. One of the primary companies said they would not attend mediation. This was designed for the creepy man to demand a settlement and no one is going to pay him anything that isn't mandated by the court. So, we wait. Creepy man. I got some words for him he may not want to hear.

This week is gearing up to be very busy at work. I was thinking we were entering into the quite season, but not so much, I guess. I think that I need to have an assistant, or a vacation. I am taking time off in December for the anniversary, but that seems so far away right now. I won't be answering my phone or email during that time. Maybe I'll get some respect from that time off. Ha, that won't happen. One of the PM is a jerk and can't figure out this job, and this causes so much more work for me. Idiot. I don't even know where to begin.
