Summer officially comes in September, and on occasion in mid August. We have had hot temps in July, but September is by all other definitions, Summer. For the last two weeks, our temps have been very high, 90 and above, and the humidity has followed suit. The tropical storm clouds over the mountains has given us some spectacular lightening shows off in the distant in the early evening. The thunder heads were HUGE and the flash flood warnings lasted days.
On Saturday, we went up to grandma's to do the cleaning. The weatherman said it would be high 90's but it was 103. It's such a summer. But before we know it, October will be here and it will begin to cool off. I look forward to the morning clouds. We haven't even closed the blind in our bedroom for 2 weeks, just in case a breeze goes by. If you sleep longer than 6 AM, the sunshine will wake you up.
The Girl is still searching for that job. Who knew that getting a job would be so difficult. I totally understand not wanting to take the job described as GED or equivalent needed to apply for this job. There is another job opening at church and I hope she will get that one.
This is the week the boss leaves for Bali. Having given this lots of thoughts, I am ready for him to be gone. But we all know, he will micromanage from afar.
Heard I may have a future cell mate! I look forward to the day I can share my cell with a like minded person and not a career prisoner.
