Fall!

It came! I wore a rain coat yesterday!

On Saturday, we were at grandma's doing the usual Saturday thang. When we went outside to head to the market, we saw a fire cloud. We were in the midst of a Santa Ana wind/heat warning. The temps were in the 90's and boy was it dry. The humidity was around 13 percent. When I saw the smoke cloud, I knew it would spread fast.It did. It was on Camp Pendleton and up until yesterday, was not contained.

We could see it from Grandma's house and after we did her marketing and finished up the work, we went home via the Fallbrook Airport. the view was great! It had spread quite a bit by then and there was a crowd building. The news van showed up because the view was great with no obstructions. It was that close to the base line and city line.

Yesterday, Wednesday, we had our first winter storm. For those who know what winter really is, stop laughing. We had wind and rain, about a quarter of an inch locally. The temps were in the 60's, the rain fell semi vertically due to the wind and it was great! I actually cooked a warm meal!

I wanted to post pictures, but iPhone pics don't seem to load the same and I keep getting them to turn every which way but up. No matter where I turn them in the file. It's a conspiracy.

The boss has returned. Right now he is sick so not a whole lot of interface. We will see how that develops. I was hoping he came home rested and ready to be a person. He sold both of his houses, one while he was gone, so a lot of the stress should be alleviated. However, he has to reinvest before he gets taxed to death.

So this day is going to be spent near home. I just don't feel my oats today and plan to do not much of anything. It will go away in time.
